Here at NEIA we believe in the power of hands-on work, which is why we are constantly expanding our two libraries, open to all students and staff.
The Hive
Learn More
The Hive is NEIA’s very own makerspace where we help students form an idea into a real-life product. The Hive features a woodshop, CNC space, and variable collaboration space. The Hive is an essential resource for our curriculum, especially for Innovation Studio as students are responsible for creating products using The Hive each year. However, we also encourage students and staff to formulate and create ideas in The Hive outside of just the academic setting.
Flexible, connected spaces celebrate real-world learning with modern labs where students work alongside staff and participate in hands-on projects.
New Building
In an effort to add better technology and more space for our growing community, we open a brand new building in 2023. This space holds updated classrooms, study areas, a gym, and our new digital storytelling, the Storyforge, room that includes a recording studio, green screen room, and more!
